Summary:

The Elizabethan 30 was designed by David Thomas in 1968 for Peter Webster Limited of Lymington. The Elizabethan 30 is a seakindly cruiser-racer offering 4 to 5 berths, with a high ballast ratio and excellent performance. Given her 24ft waterline she is a surprisingly quick passage maker. She has completed a single handed circumnavigation. In recent years the Elizabethan 30 has been in the top 3 overall in the Round the Island Race.

Elizabethan 30 "Snowbird" is a good example of this half tonner classic. Elizabethan 30 "Snowbird" was built and finished by Peter Webster Limited of Lymington for her first owner and commissioned for Solent racing in 1973. The owner successfully raced her locally but Elizabethan 30 "Snowbird"  also , among other events, raced in the Atlantic taking part in the Azores and Back Yacht Race (AZUK). Elizabethan 30 "Snowbird" then passed to new owners who raced her out of Salcombe for 17 years. In this period "Snowbird" frequently cruised France, the Scillies, the Channel Islands and the southern coast of Ireland.  The last 10 years she has been cruised by a married couple, the current owners. Currently ashore at Shoreham by Sea. Click here to view Photo Gallery of  Elizabethan 30 Snowbird
